We are based in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

Can I visit you in person?



Unfortunately you can't visit our offices. But we are happy to arrange an in person meeting if you are local. This can be at a place that suits you, whether it be your offices or a coffee shop.

What are your opening hours?



Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

How regularly will we meet if I hire you as my bookkeeper?


This entirely depends on your preference and what package you choose. We recommend meeting via Teams on at least a monthly basis.

Who will be my main point of contact?



Annabel will be your main point of contact. As the team grows your point of contact may change, but you will be informed of this with plenty of notice and a handover will be implemented to ensure the smooth running of your accounts.

Can I contact you on Whatsapp?





Yes of course no problem at all!


Why do I need to provide ID?






It’s important that we take a copy of your ID to ensure we are compliant with Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations.


Can I keep my accounts in a spreadsheet?



We advise that keeping a spreadsheet of your accounts is no longer efficient for your business. We use software such as Xero and Dext which connect with your bank to ensure that all transactions are easily reconciled.

Do you set up accounting software?






Yes we do, we use Xero and Quickbooks. We help you to set up the software so that we can collaborate together. We can even support you with any training requirements you may have.

Is accounting software included with your bookkeeping packages?





Yes all packages include Xero or Quickbooks subscriptions.

What's your preferred accounting software?






Our preferred accounting software is Xero and Quickbooks.

Is there a bookkeeping app I can use?






We advise downloading the Dext app to your phone so that you can snap your receipts as you spend.

What's the best way to track my mileage?

What qualifications do you have?


I trained and gained my accountancy qualifications (level 2 through to level 4) with AAT 2008-2010

At Bluebells Bookkeeping we work with various types of industries and specialise in The Beauty Industry (I spent 6 years working in companies within the beauty industry), Health sector and Construction. They sound so different right? Actually there’s so many similarities that you just wouldn’t believe! I have over 15 years experiencing of working within the industry and gained by AAT Level 4 qualification in 2010

What happens next if I decide to start working with you?


We have an on-boarding process that we will take you through. This will all be explained during your free consultation which you can book here

What happens if I decide to cancel my contract with you?


You will need to give 30 days notice in writing if you wish to terminate your agreement

What happens if I can't get my paperwork to you in time?


It’s vital that you get paperwork to us on time so that we can do your bookkeeping to avoid getting fines and penalties. We will always ensure that we request paperwork from you in good time, but we have to work together.

Can you do my payroll?


We certainly can, we'll ensure that your staff are paid correctly and on time. We will also make sure that your payments to HMRC are allocated correctly.


Can you do my VAT return?


Of course, we will ensure that you never miss a VAT deadline again


Will I get a monthly report?


This depends on the package you choose, but if that's what you would like, then yes of course we can accommodate!


I haven't done any bookkeeping yet this financial year, is that a problem?


No problem at all, we are happy to backdate your bookkeeping.


Can you help me with budgeting?


Yes of course. It’s a bookkeepers job to ensure that you are getting the best value for money and your cash flow is our priority.


How do I share my paperwork with you?


Via your client portal in Senta.


How can I make a complaint about a service I've received?


If you are not happy with the service you receive, please report this at your earliest convenience to myself via email. Customer service is key and feedback is important to us.


How can I find out your charges?


Every business is different so we have bespoke packages to suit your requirements. Please book in for a no obligation discovery call


Which professional body regulates you as a bookkeeper?


I am qualified and compliant with AAT regulations and my practice licence number is 1004415


How much time do you need to complete my VAT return?


I will require all information to me by 15th of every month

 How do I pay?


All fees are flat rate monthly fees payable via Direct Debit via Go Cardless. You will be invoiced on the first day of the month, due on the 8th of the month taken automatically from your bank.


Can I pay by bank transfer?


Yes you can, you can find these details on your invoice.


Can I pay by direct debit?


You can indeed, this is our preferred payment method
